The Lane Foundation was created to bring structure and purpose to the philanthropic work of Dan and Sophia Lane. What began as personal support for children's care, disability inclusion, and community wellbeing has grown into a broader commitment to strengthening the people and systems that quietly support society.
The foundation is built on a simple idea: the most important work is often the least visible. From the programmes that help disabled people access sport and new opportunities, to the specialised care offered to children and families facing complex challenges, extraordinary impact is delivered every day by people who rarely seek recognition. Lane Foundation was established to give this work the long-term support, stability, and visibility it deserves.
Please note: Lane Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation currently applying for charitable status in the United Kingdom. Grant making will begin once registration with the Charity Commission is confirmed.
Through these funds, the Lane Foundation aims to create thoughtful, long-term impact by empowering the individuals and organisations who make the world safer, kinder, and more resilient.
